Strong Steel Sets the Standard at Canal Estate

21ST Century Steel Homes has completed the first four of six houses under development at Harbour Quays, Biggera Waters. These four finished houses are now in market and ready for inspection. The prices range from $799,000.00 to
$ 899,000.00.

Designed to suit indoor and outdoor living, the homes all have welded-steel framing, which is the backbone of the six-home project, says company director Jay Saeedi.

“Each house is architecturally designed and they all have a different, modern look,” he said.

“We are using Colorbond roofing with full insulation on skillion roof design. There are no bricks being used therefore there will be no cracked bricks on external walls due to settlements.”

Lightweight Hebel concrete panels by CSR are also being used, which Mr Saeedi said gave extra insulation value to the houses.

“These make our project environmentally friendly in every aspect,” he said.

“From frame to completion, we are using the most advanced building material available for residential construction.”

Mr Saeedi said 21st Century Steel Homes deigned, detailed and manufactured its own framing.

“We choose to stay with welded system for all the right reasons.
“First, there is no movement on frames due to heat causing expansions.

“Further, we use minimum 1mm-high tensile material fully welded, which means a strong framing system with no sagging over big openings.

“Our framing system is backed up by a 50-year warranty provided by BlueScope Steel, since we only use their material and we are proud to be part of their national movement.”

Each of the Harbour Quays homes, which comprise lots 37 to 42 East Quay, have three bedrooms, large study or home theatre, massive living, dining and family area and alfresco to the back.

They are all equipped with central airconditioning system, modern kitchen, stainless-steel European appliances and top-quality fittings throughout.

“We maintained the large void in the centre of the houses for natural light and more space,” said Mr Saeedi.

“Overall we are very excited to complete the first house by the end of April and the whole project by the end of May this year.

“Seeing is believing and people should check out these houses under construction to appreciate the level of quality and strength involved.”

Harbour Quays at Biggera Waters is within walking distance to Harbour Town shopping centre, close to schools and universities, beaches and the M1.

The estate has full-time security, natural gas piping (gas hot water system and gas cooking) and a central irrigation system.

“Above all, due to being a canal estate with expensive residences, the future capital gain on these houses is sure to be enormous,” said Mr Saeedi.

The houses are on the market now.
